First off, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for leaving comments... 36 comments may be the most I've ever gotten for one post (though it was up for a month lol) Well I feel much better than the last time I updated. Last quarter was really stressful and I'm really glad its over. Today was the third day of class of spring quarter and so far this quarter is much, much better. Teachers are much friendlier and more down to earth. Plus my first class of the day isn't until 12:30 everyday, which is awesome!! I'm definately not a morning person.
Well a lot has happened lately.... I just got back from spring break. Which was probably the best spring break I've ever had. I had two weeks off and the for the first couple days I just hung out around home and visited family. I also bought a new set of 17'' chrome cobra R wheels and some ultra performance, low-profile tires to go along with them. I also bought some cross-drilled rotors, red brake calipers, and ceramic brake pads. So I installed all of that during the first couple days of break and my car looks better than ever, if I do say so myself... I'm very happy with it.
Then during the second part of break, my grandpa, dad, and I travelled to Mobile, Alabama to visit my uncle, who has just recently moved there due to a job promotion. We drove and it took around 14 hours to get there, but we drove 85 most of the way. Its so nice, once you leave Ohio there's very few cops and the radar detector will catch those few. So the three of us stayed with my aunt and uncle and cousins. Mobile is a lot nicer city than I expected. It's really new and modern. My aunt and uncle live just off this road that looks like the Beldon Village strip for seriously 10 miles. There's so many things to do!! While we were there, we decided to explore other places too.
One day we drove through Biloxi across the Mississippi River to New Orleans. It is incredible just how much devastation has occurred in that area. We travelled for probably 75 miles through disaster area. You would have to see it to believe it. While we were there we visited the famous French Quarters and I got to walk down Bourbon Street .... interesting place
Another day we went to Pensacola, Florida and hung out at Orange Beach. That's another really cool place. It had a similar feel to Myrtle Beach in that there was a lotta night life and lot of things to do right on the beach. Plus it was almost entirely made up of college and high school kids. I also wanted to travel to Panama City, but we ran out of time.
On the way back, we stopped in Bowling Green, KY and toured the Corvette Manufacturing Plant, which is actually the only plant that builds corvettes. It's pretty cool if you're into cars.
The entire time on break I was on the move, so I didn't get much relaxation, but I definately had a blast!!! Good memories.
Then when I got back, I went and saw the Tusky Valley play, Guys and Dolls. It was awesome! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!! Then I was invited to the party afterwards and as always it was great to hang out with old friends.
